It’s so hard to believe that the holidays are upon us again. Another year older, another year better, right?
The bad part about this is that I see time slipping through my fingers like it never has before – summer – gone in a flash. Halloween already past. Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner. And then its 2011. 2011??? How did that happen?!
The good part is that I get to see holiday clients again, and watch the kids grow up. And with this particular family, I get to see the dog grow up, too!
These two are always so easy. Doesn’t hurt that they are gorgeous, but they are also so well-behaved and pleasant to photograph. So excited that little Miss G is dancing in the Nutcracker this year. Can’t you just see her onstage? Enjoy the preview, gallery will be up soon!

Oh, ye of little faith. I am pretty sure that no one expected me to ever post again! But here I am. I must apologize to all of my wonderful clients who had sessions in late summer and early fall and were not featured here. I was simply so swamped that I was processing and uploading galleries as quickly as possible, and the blog got neglected.
But I promise – it’s back for good!
And the first preview is a doozie. This little guy is the relative of a great client. As always, I love referrals and watching families grow together! How cute is he!?
More to come shortly, but for now, enjoy little Mr. O:

Another session with great repeat clients – did I mention that watching kids grow is the best part of my job!? We met at the mill for this session, then drove to a hill for the final silhouettes. It was great seeing this beautiful family again, and the kids were so adorable!! Here is a preview of our session,  gallery will be coming soon, folks!

Yesterday I had the great fortune of photographing a client who lived directly across from a location I had used once before, but had not been able to find again. I am so happy to know how to get there, now! This Mommy-to-be was a blast to photograph – so comfortable in her skin and in front of the camera. I can’t wait to meet her little guy in just a few weeks!
Enjoy the preview:

Watching Them Grow…

July 6, 2009

I have always said that watching kids grow is the best part of my job. The last time I photographed these kiddos, they were so little! Now they are “big kids” – playing sports, talking about iCarly, and super easy to photograph! One thing that has NOT changed is that these three have the most amazing eyelashes I have ever seen. Here is a little preview of our session:

Thanks to all the great families who brought their kiddos out to my June GoCity Kids promotion – the Summer Faces Fashion Model Contest! The winner of the contest will receive a gorgeous monogrammed 11×14 gallery mount of their winning image and will be featured on this blog and my website throughout the month of July!

Here are the entries, in no particular order…you may vote (and have friends and family vote) once per day. This should be a close contest – all these kiddos were gorgeous! The voting buttons are at the bottom of the entries.

PLEASE NOTE! I know that #8 looks VERY much like my daughter. But rest assured, she is not! I did not enter my own child in my contest, I promise!
